Baked Beans

Ingredients:

  • 2 cans pork and beans
  • 1 can chili beans
  • 1 can ranch style beans w/jalapeños
  • 1 can black beans
  • 1# ground beef
  • I diced yellow onion
  • 2-3 cups BBQ Sauce
  • Whole Bayou Seasoning by Bayou Spice to taste…a couple of tablespoons or so


Instructions:

  1. Brown the meat
  2. Stir all ingredients together and season to taste with the Whole Bayou. (I smoked them uncovered on my smoker at 350° for about 45 minutes)

Shrimp & Grits Casserole

My version of a shrimp and grits casserole. 1.25 pounds of bacon, 1 pound of andouille sausage, 3 pounds of shrimp, onion, bell pepper, jalapeños, lots of cheeses, grits, and of course plenty of Bayou Spice. It came out pretty dang tasty!!

Turkey Stuffed Bell Peppers

"Thank you BAYOU SPICE for helping me to create some very TASTY turkey stuffed bell peppers! I am now calling them my CAJUN STUFFED BELL PEPPERS! I used both The Bayou Garlic Pepper and The Whole Bayou in this one!" - Christy C. ? Cook ground turkey on the skillet with a little chicken stock and Bayou Spice seasonings as well as diced onions. Cut your bell peppers in half and stuff. Add a little tomato sauce, cover with foil. I always fill the baking pan with about a half inch of chicken broth. Bake at 375 for 45 minutes. Uncover and smoother with mozzarella cheese. Cover again and bake for another 15 minutes or until your desired softness of bell pepper. ENJOY!
